Biography[]
Buri was the first of the Aesir. Ages after the birth of Ymir the Frost Giant, the magic cow known as Audumbla traversed the frozen lands of Ginnungagap in Niffelheim. Licking at the ice with her tongue, she observed a new breed of human rising from the ice - this was Buri. From him, rose the mighty and proud race known as Asgardians. Buri sired a son named Bor, whose own son, Odin Borson, would one day become the All-Father of Asgard. Odin's own children included Thor Odinson and Balder Odinson.
