- The character of Bullseye was created by writer Marv Wolfman and artist John Romita. He was expanded upon in greater detail by Frank Miller and Klaus Janson during their stint on Daredevil.
- Bullseye's real name has never been revealed. One name attributed to him is Lester, but it is unclear whether this is supposed to be his first name or his surname. He has also been addressed as Leonard. [2]
- Bullseye had his own four-issue limited series under the Marvel Knights imprint in 2004 called Bullseye: Greatest Hits. The title is intended as a pun on music compilation albums as well as the fact that Bullseye is a hitman.
- When Bullseye joined Norman Osborn's Dark Avengers, he assumed the role of Hawkeye. Hawkeye is normally Clint Barton.
- Once had dreams of becoming a major league baseball pitcher. When this failed, he naturally turned towards assassination.
Alternate versions[]
- Bullseye made his first live-action appearance in the 2003 film Daredevil. He was played by actor Colin Farrell.
- Bullseye is also one of the featured villains in the Punisher video game, which is based on the 2004 film.
- Damien Colletti played Bullseye in the 2009 fan film Elektra: The Hand & the Devil. The film can be found on YouTube.
