Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Complete First Season is a DVD collection including the first twelve episodes of the WB Network television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It was released on May 30th, 2006 by Twentieth Century Fox Television. Special features include an introduction by series creator Joss Whedon as well as a series introduction interview with Whedon and actor David Boreanaz (Angel). Whedon also provides audio commentary on the series two-part pilot "Welcome to the Hellmouth" and "The Harvest". The final shooting scripts for both episodes are also provided on the disc one bonus features.
