"Fool for Love" is the seventh episode of season five of the supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and the eighty-fifth episode of the series overall. It was directed by Nick Marck with a script written by Douglas Petrie. It first aired on the WB Network on October 17th, 2000. In this episode Buffy Summers requires knowledge about Slayers of the past, so she reluctantly calls upon the advice of the one vampire she knows who has successfully killed two of them - Spike! The origin of the infamous "William the Bloody" is finally revealed.
