Buckinghamshire is a county located in the Southeastern region of England. It is also informally referred to as Bucks. It is a ceremonial county that borders Greater London to the south east, Berkshire to the south, Oxfordshire to the west, Northamptonshire to the north, Bedfordshire to the north east and Hertfordshire to the east.
The movie film production studio, Pinewood Studios is located in Iver Heath in Buckinghamshire. The studio was founded in 1935 by J. Arthur Rank when he purchased Heatherden Hall and converted it into a film studio. With the dawning of the age of television, Pinewood was also used to film studio scenes for TV programs.
