Bryan Jay Singer is an American film and television director and producer. He is the director of the first two installments of the X-Men film series franchise as well as the first sequel to the prequel series beginning with the X-Men: Days of Future Past. Following the runaway success of X-Men and X2: X-Men United, Singer left the franchise to join ranks with the "distinguished competition" by helming the 2006 quasi-sequel Superman Returns.
Bryan Singer is also the creator of the successful medical drama series House M.D..
Bryan Singer is also a producer on the 2011 web series H+.
In 2012, Bryan Singer directed a pilot movie called Mockingbird Lane starring former Sliders star Jerry O'Connell and British actor/comedian Eddie Izzard. The show was a reboot of the classic 1960s sitcom The Munsters. It was intended as a pilot, but was not picked up by the network.
Bryan Singer also wrote the comic issue Superman Returns Prequel: Lex Luthor #3.
