Batman, whose real name is Bruce Wayne, is a fictional costumed crime-fighter, industrialist and a central character in the DC Extended Universe series of films, which is based on comic book titles published by DC Comics. The character was played by actor Ben Affleck and first appeared in the 2016 feature film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He then made a cameo appearance in Suicide Squad, released that same year. He made a behind-the-scenes appearance in Wonder Woman and then made his next full appearance in Justice League, the latter two of which were both released in 2017.
