Brent Spiner is an American film and television actor born Brandt J. Spiner in Houston, Texas on February 2nd, 1949. He is best known for playing the character of the android Data on the popular television series Star Trek: The Next Generation, as well as the four "NextGen" Star Trek feature films. Brent's first role in a science fiction feature was playing a draft dodger in the "Dead Run" vignette from the 1985 iteration of The Twilight Zone.
