Biography[]
Brad Rossi was a student at Seacrest Senior High School in the state of Washington. In the spring of 2001, he purchased a pair of concert tickets to see the Foo Fighters from a fellow student named Shawn Farrell. What Brad didn't know at the time was that the tickets were actually stolen. When he went to the concert, the police were waiting for him. They arrested Brad and found five tablets of ecstacy on him. Because of this, he had to submit to weekly urination tests for the following two years.
In 2004, Brad learned that Shawn Farrell was one of 4,400 abductees who had mysteriously returned after having been missing for three years. Shawn tried to re-acclimate himself, but Brad still held a grudge. As the returnees were considered something of a spectacle, Brad spray-painted the word "Freak" across Shawn's car.
The next day in school, Brad confronted Shawn and slammed him against the lockers. He told him about the incident with the police and even though three years had passed, he still wanted revenge against him. Shawn's younger brother Danny had to keep the two from coming to blows.
Brad saw Shawn outside the campus later that day. He began taunting him, but Shawn decided that he was no longer going to tolerate the bully's barbs. They began fighting one another and as they rolled across the grass, Shawn demonstrated a remarkable ability. Without conscious thought, he began stealing the life force from Brad's body, bringing him nearly to the point of death. Once again Danny intervened, but this time, he did so on Brad's behalf. Thanks to Danny, Brad lived to see another day. ("Pilot")
