The Boys of Brazil is an American feature film of the drama and science fiction genres. It was directed by Franklin J. Schaffner with a script written by Heywood Gould based on the novel by Ira Levin. It was produced by Sir Lew Grade, Producers Circle and ITC Films. It premiered as a sneak preview in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 19th, 1978. It was officially screened in the U.S. in Los Angeles, California on October 4th, 1978. It opened up nation-wide on October 6th, 1978. The premise of the movie involves a group of Nazis who escaped Nuremburg and have set themselves up in Paraguay in order to conduct genetic experiments in cloning.
