Overview[]
BorderLine Investigative Services was a private detective agency based out of Boston, Massachusetts. Unlike other such firms, BorderLine specialized in cases involving the supernatural. It was founded by former private detective-turned-vampire Hannibal King, the dhampir vampire hunter known as Blade and Frank Drake. When their cases required the three men to go into battle, they called themselves the Nightstalkers. (Nightstalkers 1)
In the team's final battle against vampire progenitor Varnae, Hannibal King and Frank Drake were seemingly killed in battle. In truth, their essences had merged with Varnae to form Bloodstorm. With the dissolution of the Nightstalkers, BorderLine Investigative Services shut down. (Nightstalkers 18)
