Body Melt is an Australian independent feature film of the horror, science fiction and dark comedy genres, with an emphasis on body horror. It was directed by Philip Brophy with a screenplay written by Brophy and Rod Bishop. It was produced by Dumb Films and Film Victoria. It premiered at the Sitges Film Festival in Spain in October, 1993. It was then screened at the BFI London Film Festival in England in December. The film opened in Australia on October 28th, 1994.

- Female topless nudity: A sustained shot of Regina Gaigalas' breasts are shown in the opening scene of the movie. Parthena is also briefly topless during a sex scene.
