Blymm is a fictional alien character featured in comic book titles published by DC Comics. He is part of DC's Pre-Crisis Earth-One continuity and first appeared in the "When Kryptonians Clash" story from Superman, Volume 1 #365.
Biography[]
Blymm was an extraterrestrial of an unidentified race and a member of the Superman Revenge Squad. He was sent to Earth to wreak havoc in Superman's life by attacking his cousin, Supergirl.
Blymm exposed Supergirl to a harmful radiation treatment, coupled with an artificially created pathogen called Virus X. The effects of the treatment were similar to that of one who suffers from sleep deprivation, forcing Supergirl to act unruly and violent. After lashing out at Superman, she attacked Blymm, using a Micro-wave ray on him, which reduced him to the size of a Kandorian. Superman was able to cure Supergirl by treating her with White kryptonite.
Realizing he was defeated, Blymm took responsibility for his actions, and begged Superman and Supergirl to protect him. For his failure, the Superman Revenge Squad detonated a medallion on Blymm's throat via remote control, killing him instantly. [1]
