Blue Beetle is an American comic book limited series of the superhero fantasy genre. It features the costumed hero known as Blue Beetle, whose real name is Ted Kord. This series was published by Modern Comics in 1977, and only two issues of the title were produced. Issues #1 and #3 (there is no issue #2) are reprints of stories from Blue Beetle, Volume 6 by Steve Ditko. This reprint series were to be sold in comic three-pack bundles. This is the seventh comic book series to carry the name Blue Beetle. It is the only Blue Beetle comic series published by Modern. It is the second series to focus on the character of Ted Kord, though some may argue that this doesn't count as these are only reprints.
