BloodRayne is an American feature film of the action and supernatural thriller genres. It is based on the BloodRayne video game series by Majesco Entertainment and Vivendi Universal Games. The film was directed by Uwe Boll with a script written by Guinevere Turner. It was produced by Boll KG, Herold Productions and Pitchblack Pictures. It was released theatrically in the United States on October 23rd, 2005. BloodRayne stars Kristanna Loken as Rayne - a dhampir who hunts supernatural creatures as an agent of the Brimstone Society.
