Blaster pistol

A blaster pistol is a fictional type of weapon featured in the Star Wars multimedia franchise. It is a type of blaster that is a handheld repeating firearm that emits concentrated bolts of amplified light or "LASER" energy. Some blaster pistols may be equipped with additional accessories such as telescoping barrels, targeting scopes, power packs, etc. One of the most prominent manufacturers of blaster pistols during the Old Republic era was BlasTech Industries.
