"Breakdown (Part 1)" is the title to the first issue of the second Black Widow comic book limited series published by Marvel Comics. This title is branded under the "Marvel Knights" imprint. The story was written by Devin Grayson and Greg Rucka with painted artwork by Scott Hampton. Hampton also rendered the cover art illustration for this issue. It was lettered by Richard Starkings & Wes Abbott of Comicraft. The story was edited by Nanci Dakesian and Jimmy Palmiotti with Kelly Lamy as assistant editor. This issue shipped with a January, 2001 cover date and carries a cover price of $2.99 per copy (US).
