Black Widow, Volume 1 is an American comic book limited series of the superhero fantasy/adventure subgenre. It was published by Marvel Comics from June-August, 1999 and spanned a total of three issues. The series stars Natasha Romanoff, aka the Black Widow, in her very first solo adventure series. The subtitle of the series is "The Itsy Bitsy Spider". It was written by Devin Grayson and illustrated by J.G. Jones. Dave Kemp provided the colors and lettering was done by Richard Starkings, Wes Abbott and Comicraft. Ian Hannin and Andy Troy did the coloring for issue #3. The series was edited by Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada.

The character of the Black Widow was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Don Heck.
The Black Widow was originally introduced as a foe of Iron Man in Tales of Suspense #52.
The Black Widow is formerly a partner of Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil. She shared the title spotlight with him in his own series from issue #87-108 of Daredevil, Volume 1.
Issue #1 of this series was released with an alternate cover featuring Yelena Belova.
Issue #1 also shipped with a variant cover by Dynamic Forces.
