Black Vulcan is a fictional super-hero and a supporting character on the Super Friends family of animated projects. He originally appeared on the All-New Super Friends Hour where he was voiced by Buster Jones. He first appeared in the episode titled "The Whirlpool".
Overview[]
Black Vulcan is an African American super-hero whose true name is unknown. He appears to be an altered human gifted with the ability to project electrical energy from different parts of his body. He can fire bolts of electricity from his hands for offensive combat and can also generate electricity from his legs, which gives him the ability to fly. Or, as it has been described elsewhere, he can create electricity -- in his pants.
