History[]
Black Spectre is an evil terrorist organization bent on world domination. The leader of the group was a masked individual who referred to himself as the Master. In reality, this was actually Jerome Beechman, aka the Mandrill, who used his mutant powers to enslave women into becoming his agents. Another valued member of Black Spectre was Nekra Sinclair - another mutant and childhood friend of the Mandrill.
The Mandrill focused Black Spectre's iniatives first in New York City where he fought up against the Thing and Daredevil. During this encounter, the Mandrill used his powers to force Daredevil's partner, the Black Widow into servitude. [1]
