Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is an American feature film of action, adventure, and superhero fantasy genres. It is the thirtieth installment in the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe and is the first sequel to 2018's Black Panther. It was written and directed by Ryan Coogler with a script co-written by Joe Robert Cole. It was produced by Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Productions and premiered theatrically in the United States on November 11th, 2022. Although the character of T'Challa is gone with the passing of actor Chadwick Boseman, the legacy of Wakanda lives as they take their place on the world stage. New threats arrive as the Marvel Cinematic Universe finally ushers in the character of Namor and his undersea race, the Atlanteans. Returning cast members from the first film include Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Winston Duke as M'Baku, Lupita Nyong'o as Nakia, and Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross. New faces to the MCU include Tenoch Huerta as Namor, and Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams.
