Description[]
A Black Lantern ring is a piece of jewelry possessing great power and is used by and for the creation of members of the Black Lantern Corps, which is a legion of undead beings whose power is cultivated outside of the emotional electromagnetic spectrum. They were created by the undead being known as Nekron and forged on Ryut deep inside of Sector 666. A Black Lantern ring will attach itself to a deceased being and replicate the individual's physical form, while also reproducing all of the original's memories. Unlike its counterpart, the Green Lantern ring, a Black Lantern ring does not require a separate power battery to recharge itself. It sustains its own energy by harvesting the hearts of those who fall victim to a Black Lantern.
