The revamped version of the show was produced by Universal Media Studios and aired on NBC from September to November of 2007, spanning a total of only eight episodes. Production on the show went on hiatus due to the WGA writers' strike. As such, NBC decided to discontinue the series. The series starred Michelle Ryan in the title role of Jaime Sommers.
