Biography[]
Billy Ellenshaw was a henchman who worked for Roger Grafton alongside another henchman named Conrad Shurz and a pilot named Corey. Roger Grafton had put together an expedition team that traveled to the Himalayas to find, capture, and exploit a primitive tribe that some might refer to as Yetis. During this encounter, they found that the American swamp beast known as the Man-Thing was present, and proved to be of a more valuable prize. Grafton ordered to contain the creature, but he evaded capture. The indigenous people used a "gong of doom" to start an avalanche, and Billy Ellenshaw and the others had to escape via helicopter.
The Man-Thing, along with a woman named Elaine Simpson, held onto the bottom of the vehicle as it took off. The added weight caused the helicopter to lose altitude, until the Man-Thing's frozen hand snapped off, causing the creature to plummet to certain doom. With the weight lifted, Grafton's men were able to retain their flight path, but without their valued prize.
