Biography[]
Billy Cassidy was a young man who lived in Mathisville in the 1980s. He was the son of Mrs. Cassidy and the younger brother of Judy Cassidy. On Halloween night in 1988, Billy hid in his sister's closet and waited until she was dis-robing before jumping out to scare her with a Halloween mask. Judy was naturally distressed by this, especially when Billy made a pointed comment about her "cha-chas".
Billy went downstairs and answered the door. As turnabout is fair play, it was now his turn to be on the receiving end of a Halloween trick. An older teenager named Sal Romero jumped out with his own spook mask. Sal then pestered Billy about his sister, showing interest in taking her to the dance. Billy told Sal that Judy had no interest in him and was going to a party with Jay Jansen. Sal asked him where the party was at, but Billy refused to tell him. He tried bribing him with a measly quarter, and when Billy refused a second time, he increased the amount to a whole dollar. Billy took the money and told Sal that the party was being held at an abandoned funeral home known as Hull House.
