Biography[]
Bill Nelson was a young rookie cop who joined the Chicago Police Department. He met a college student named Greer Grant and the two fell in love and were quickly married. Bill was a man of great personal pride, and considered himself the bread-winner of the family. He didn't care of the notion of Greer being anything than a full-time housewife, and disliked the notion of her returning to school.
A year after the wedding, Bill Nelson and Greer Grant were walking down a street when they took note of a drugstore robbery in progress. Bill drew his sidearm as the thief exited the building, but the robber fired first, and Bill was killed. Greer sold their home and found work as a research assistant for her old college professor, Joanne Tumolo. [2]
