Notes & Trivia[]

Bigfoot girls

Bigfoot and the girls.

  • The tagline for this movie is "The breast Bigfoot movie ever made!"
  • There are a total of thirteen credited cast members in this film.
  • The title card of the film includes an exclamation point on the title, Bigfoot or Bust!, though the film poster is just titled Bigfoot or Bust, without the exclamation mark.
  • The title of this film is a play on words. The phrase "...or bust" is often used to describe an objective that must be met regardless of risk, and usually comes at a great cost. "Bust" also refers to a woman's bosom, a tongue-in-cheek reference to the abundance of cleavage presented in this film.
  • Actress Deborah Dutch, who plays the short space girl, is credited as Debbie Dutch in this film.
  • Gaffer Jasper Harris is given a "Featuring" credit in the beginning of the film, but is not listed amongst the end credit staff. Presumably, Jasper plays the role of Bigfoot as the performer playing Bigfoot is not otherwise credited.
  • Actress Melissa Brasselle is credited as Rocky DeMarco in this film.
  • Half of the songs featured in this film are written and performed by Becky LeBeau. The other half are written and performed by Rocky DeMarco, including the film's title track, which is performed in the movie itself.
  • Additional scenes and dialogue in this film were written by Rocky DeMarco.
  • Director, writer and producer Jim Wynorski makes a cameo appearance in the film as himself.
  • The character of Jesse James claims to be a descendant of the historical Jesse James.
  • The Space Girls never reveal why Sasquatch scat is so valuable in the future. Apparently, three decent sized droppings are worth trillions.
  • The Space Girls make dumb jokes that are occasionally accompanied by a laugh track.
  • When two of the girls are making Bigfoot mating calls, the sounds coming out of the speakers are actually the noises made by famous kaiju monsters Godzilla, Rodan, and Ghidorah.
  • An out of context segment of the film features a western style shoot-out between Bigfoot and the Wild West Girl. The scene is given the title card of The Good, the Bad, and the Bigoot. This is a play on the famous Sergio Leone spaghetti western The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
  • This film introduces a subplot in the beginning wherein Jesse and Billy James believe that Bigfoot might be responsible for the death of their father. This plotline is immediately dropped and never referenced again throughout the film.
  • In addition to being a talk show host, Doctor Dawn's qualification include parapsychology, internal medicine, and even a little bit of surgery.

Explicit content[]

  • Female partial nudity: During a clothes-changing scene, Antonia Dorian changes into a see-through dress with nipples partially visible.
  • Profanity: Strong profanity used sparingly throughout. Two uses of "fuck" and one use of "shit", all of which spoken by Cindy Lucas.

Body Count[]

  • Amazingly, none! No Sasquatches were harmed during the making of this film. Additionally, nobody dies as a result of interaction with the Sasquatch. He's just a lonely self-loathing cryptid who doesn't even want to be a Sasquatch any more.
