Biography[]

Betty Hartman hailed from the state of Texas. In 1955, she was romantically tied to a boy named Ted Hardesty. Betty and Ted were driving down a country road through the town of Newt when they came upon a seemingly injured young boy named Jedidiah Sawyer. In an attempt to help him, Betty followed him to a dilapidated barn, unaware that she was being lured by the murderous and sadistic Sawyer family. She fell through a floorboard of a makeshift machine shop. Nubbins Sawyer dropped a chain-suspended vehicle engine down upon her, which instantly crushed her head.
