Beta Ray Bill is a fictional comic book alien superhero featured in titles published by Marvel Comics. He is associated with the Thor line of comic titles and debuted in the pages of Thor, Volume 1 #337 in November, 1983. Beta Ray Bill is an extraterrestrial who is humanoid in appearance, but is bald with orange skin. He is a member of a race called Korbinites, who hail from the Burning Galaxy. Beta earned the favor of Asgardian god Odin, who decided that the guy needed some Thoring up, so he bestowed upon him a mystical enchantment, and gave him his own handy dandy war-hammer, which he calls Stormbreaker. When Bill transforms into his heroic mien, he undergoes a physical transformation as well, which alters the bone structure of his face, making him appear somewhat equine.
