Beta Flight is a fictional superhero team featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and is associated with the Alpha Flight line of titles. They first appeared in a one-panel cameo flashback scene in Alpha Flight #1 in August, 1983.
Overview[]
Beta Flight is a government training program that falls under the auspices of Department H, which was governed by the Canadian Ministry of Defense. Young heroes are recruited into the program where they are trained in military tactics and hand-to-hand combat. Betas also received training in how to use whatever superhuman abilities the trainees may have possessed.
