Beebo is a popular talking stuffed animal toy that was mass produced in the 1980s. It became the hot ticket item over the Christmas holiday in 1982. A young Martin Stein succeeded in acquiring such an item using his wits and guile to negotiate the frenzy of a busy shopping outlet. However, after leaving the store with the highly coveted Beebo, he was then caught in a chronal anomaly that thrust him backwards in time to the the Viking era. The vikings saw Beebo and heard it speak and took it to be a vessel of the Gods. They began worshiping Beebo as their new God of War.
The Legends from a future era traveled back to this time to correct the anachronism caused by Beebo's presence, which had effectively changed history, insuring that the traditions of Christmas as is commonly known today, were no longer recognized. Ray Palmer shrunk to a small size and entered the Beebo toy in an effort to "speak" through it to warn the Vikings off their chosen course of actions. [1]
British occultist John Constantine once remarked that he had placed a spell upon a Beebo toy, causing it to talk. Whether this was the same Beebo that Martin Stein had procured or not is unclear. [2]
