Beatriz "Bea" Bonilla da Costa is a fictional comic book super-hero featured in comic books published by DC Comics. She is associated with the Justice League of America line of titles and first appeared as an Earth-One character in DC Comics Presents #46. The character originated as a hero from Rio de Janeiro with the powers of flight and pyrokinesis. She was one of the founding members of the Global Guardians under the code name Green Fury. She later joined Justice League International, where she began calling herself Green Flame. Later, this was just shortened to Fire. Following her stint with the JLI, Beatriz became an agent of Checkmate. Beatriz da Costa is best friends and colleagues with Tora Olafsdotter, also known as Icemaiden. In modern stories they team up together under the combined duo name of "Fire & Ice".
