"The End of the Beginning" is the title to the nineteenth issue of the Batwing comic book series by DC Comics. The story was written by Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti and illustrated by Eduardo Pansica. It was inked by Julio Ferreira. The cover art illustration was composed by Fabrizio Fiorentino. The issue was colored by Jason Wright and lettered by Taylor Esposito. It was edited by Rachel Gluckstern with Darren Shan as assistant editor. This issue was released with a June, 2013 cover date and carries a cover price of $2.99 per copy (US).
In this issue, David Zavimbe quits as Batwing and a new costumed hero emerges to take on the mantle.
