- "It means that you're still acting like you're everyone's best friend. We're not friends, you're the CAG. "Be careful out there"? Our job isn't to be careful, it's to shoot Cylons out of the frakking sky! "Good Hunting" is what you say. And now one of your idiot pilots is acting like a child and refusing to take her pills. So she either says "Yes, sir" and obeys a direct order, or you smack her in the mouth, and you drag her sorry ass down to sickbay, and you make her take those pills."

"33" is the pilot episode of the Battlestar Galactica revival series, which follows the two-part Battlestar Galactica miniseries event that first aired in 2003. The episode was directed by Michael Rymer and written by series developer Ronald D. Moore. It first aired in the United States on Friday evening, January 14th, 2005 on Syfy. The episode continues plot lines that were begun in the miniseries and follows the crew of the Galactica as they persistently attempt to stay ahead of their Cylon pursuers. Twin Cylon Basestars hound the fleet, following their course and appearing before them once every thirty-three minutes. Commander Adama is forced to have the fleet make an emergency FTL jump every thirty-three minutes to stay ahead of them, but after more than 230 such jumps, the crew begins to succumb to exhaustion and sleep deprivation. Meanwhile, Doctor Gaius Baltar, haunted by the persona of the Cylon Number Six, grows worried that a scientist aboard the fleet ship, the Olympic Carrier, may possess evidence that could expose his involvement in the attack on the Twelve Colonies.
