"Formula for Doom" is the title of the first story featured in issue #152 of the first Batman ongoing comic book series published by DC Comics. The story was written by Bill Finger with artwork by Sheldon Moldoff and inks by Charles Paris. It was lettered by Stan Starkman. The second tale is called "The False Face Society" and was also written by Bill Finger with art and inks by Moldoff and Paris. The third story, which is by the same creative team, is called "Memorial to an Astronaut". All stories were edited by Jack Schiff. This issue shipped with a December, 1962 cover date and carries a cover price of .12 cents per copy.

- Batman was created by comic book writer Bill Finger and graphic artist Bob Kane. He first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in May, 1939. He received his first ongoing series, Batman, in the Spring, 1940 beginning with Batman #1.
- This issue shipped to retailers on October 18th, 1962.
- This is the first appearance of the False Face Society. A modernized version of the False Face Society, led by Black Mask, is introduced in Batman #386 in August, 1985.
