"The Ogg and I" is the eighth episode of season three of the live-action superhero fantasy series Batman. The episode was directed by Oscar Rudolph with a script written by Stanford Sherman. It first aired on ABC on November 2nd, 1967.
Synopsis[]
Egghead and his consort Olga kidnap Commissioner Gordon and whisk him away in a hot air balloon. Egghead later calls Gotham City Police Headquarters to make his ransom demand. Batman answers the line and he demands .10 cents for every egg eaten in Gotham City.

- Batman was created by comic book writer Bill Finger and graphic artist Bob Kane. He first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in May, 1939. He received his first ongoing series, Batman, in the Spring, 1940 beginning with Batman #1.

- According to Batman, Egghead is obsessed with telephone calls.
- Commissioner Gordon wears a particular brand of cologne made in Sumatra, which carries a very pungent odor. It is called Wellington No. 4.
