Batman: The Killing Joke is that one story that everybody loves. You know... the one where the Joker shoots Barbara Gordon, paralyzing her, and it is heavily implied that Batman goes off the deep end, possibly even killing the Joker in a vague face-off? Yeah... that one. The story was written by everybody's favorite British crack-pot Alan Moore with interior and cover artwork by Brian Bolland. The original volume was released in March, 1988 and went to numerous printings. In 2016, it was adapted into an animated film.
