Batman: Dark Victory is an American comic book maxi-series event published by DC Comics. It is associated with the Batman line of titles and is a thematic sequel to Batman: The Long Halloween. The series ran for thirteen standard issues with a prequel 0 issue and was published from December, 1999 to December, 2000. The series was written by Jeph Loeb with artwork by Tim Sale. It was colored by Gregory Wright & Heroic Age with Richard Starkings as letterer. The book was edited by Mark Chiarello. Even in the aftermath of "The Long Halloween", Batman finds no peace. Gotham City is caught in the middle of a battle between what's left of the Falcone mob and freakish villains such as the Joker, Mister Freeze, and Catwoman.
