Notes & Trivia[]
- The character of Barbara Gordon was created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Carmine Infantino. She first appeared during the Silver Age era of DC's comic publishing in "The Million Dollar Debut of Batgirl!" story from Detective Comics #359 in January, 1967.
- This series is rated T+ for Teen.
- This issue shipped to retailers on December 14th, 2011.
- This issue is UPC barcode number 761941306391 00411.
- This series takes place in the "New 52" continuity, which was a company-wide reboot of all DC Comics titles following the events of the "Flashpoint" crossover storyline in early 2011.
- This issue is reprinted in the Batgirl: The Darkest Reflection hardcover collection.
- Sprang Park is named after legendary Batman artist Dick Sprang.
- This is the first New 52 appearance of Barbara Gordon's mother, Barbara Eileen Gordon. In Pre-Flashpoint continuity, Barbara Eileen Gordon was actually her aunt and adoptive mother, not her biological mother.
- The "Hugo" that the criminal mentions who is responsible for creating the iPhone app is undoubtedly Professor Hugo Strange - one of Batman's first foes.
- One of the criminals makes reference to Cape Carmine. This is likely a reference to Carmine Infantino - artist and co-creator of Batgirl.
