Bastrop is a city in the US state of Texas and the county seat of Bastrop County. Bastrop made a brief appearance in the first issue of volume four of the Iron Man ongoing comic book series. It was there that a domestic terrorist named Mallen was infected with the Extremis enhancile developed by FuturePharm, which gave him enhanced physical attributes, but also developed several unforseen side effects.
