Notes & Trivia[]
- The character of Basil Sandhurst was created by writer Archie Goodwin and artist George Tuska.
Equipment[]
- Absorbatron: The Absorbatron, also known as the Mental-Wave Absorbatron, was developed by Vincent and Basil Sandhurst. The machine absorbed mental energy and transferred it into a special exoskeleton, allowing Basil Sandhurst the ability to convert mental energy into raw power.
- Control discs: The Controller uses small palm-sized discs that affix themselves to the back of the neck of human targets. These discs enable the Controller to assume complete mental control over his victims. The original discs were networked into the Absorbatron, but the Controller later upgraded the discs with technology from Titan, allowing them to channel energy from the discs through his exoskeleton.
