Biography[]
Bart Slade was the road manager for the motorcycle stunt show that Johnny Blaze and Roxanne Simpson worked at. When Roxanne was injured in an accident, Bart came to visit her in the hospital and brought her flowers. Bart expressed concerned over Johnny's recent absences as of late, noting how the show needed its star attraction.
When Blaze failed to appear for an important event taking place at Copperhead Canyon, Slade decided to perform the stunt in his stead. The stunt involved ramping his motorcycle across the canyon - a stunt that many believed that only Johnny Blaze was capable of pulling off. The odds against Bart's riding acumen tragically bore fruit. He made the jump, but just before landing there was a sudden wind gust that shifted the cycle, sending him crashing into the canyon wall. Slade died from his injuries moments later. [1]
Abilities[]
- Motorcycle riding: Bart Slade was a competent motorcycle rider and stunt driver, but was not nearly as skillful at his craft as his contemporary, Johnny Blaze.
