Barney Muggins is a fictional landlord and a minor character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and is associated with the Spider-Man line of comic titles. He was first referenced in Amazing Spider-Man #139 in December, 1974.
Biography[]
Barney Muggins was a property owner who lived in the Chelsea district of Manhattan in New York City, New York. Along with his wife, Mamie Muggins, they owned the apartment complex at 410 Chelsea Street. Barney was not on site on the day that his wife rented out a top apartment to college student Peter Parker for the rate of $150.00 a month.
