A barbarian is a character archetype found in Sword and Sorcery stories. They are most often presented as warriors, but are also known for expressing certain negative character traits such as a surly or violent disposition, uncultured attitudes towards women, which may include assault or rape, as well as poor hygiene. Someone who ain't got the decency to wipe their ass after they dump is clearly a barbarian. Just ask Conan.
