Barbara Gordon's apartment is a fictional location featured in the Batman multimedia franchise. It appeared in the 1960s Batman television series.
History[]
Barbara Gordon lived in apartment number 8A in a highrise building in Gotham City. A rotating wall in her bedroom was installed, which could turn around to reveal her wig, costume and crime-fighting equipment as Batgirl. The wall could activated by toggling a trigger on the left hand side of her makeup table. Behind this secret chamber, was a secondary outlet that concealed her Batcycle. Another trigger opened the wall behind this chamber, which led outside.
The lower level of building contained a garage. Whenever Batman and Robin had cause to visit her, they would park the Batmobile in the garage.
Batman, Robin, and Chief O'Hara came to Barbara's apartment after her father, James Gordon failed to meet them for an appointment.

- The name of the building itself is unknown. It had at least eight floors as Barbara's apartment number was 8A.
- The oddity of living in apartment 8A is that it appears as if her apartment is actually on the ground floor as her secret room opens out onto the street.
