Baphomet
Notability: Antagonist
Gender: Male
Race: Demon
Location: Hell
Status: Immortal

Baphomet is an infernal figure that features prominently in the history, or perhaps even the re-written history of the Knights Templar. He is presented as an idol, possibly harboring demonic origins. The visage of Baphomet is that of a tall slender humanoid with the face of a goat. Baphomet is often associated with the symbol of the pentagram, and some images depict him with a pentagram marked upon his brow. This too, is suggestive of Baphomet's possible demonic lineage. In popular fiction, Baphomet is connected to mysticism, the occult, and is worshiped by witch covens. He has also been presented as an elder demon of Hell. Although fiction often presents Baphomet as a male entity, the common appearance of Baphomet with breasts also suggests that it may be female, or possibly even genderless.
