Balder Odinson, classically known as Balder the Brave, is a fictional warrior hero featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and is generally associated with the Thor family of comic book titles. He first appeared in Journey Into Mystery #85 in October, 1962.
Biography[]
When Balder realized that the evil wizard Igron had been manipulating All-Father Odin, Balder determined that Odin had gone insane, and should be removed from power. He consulted with the Viking warrior Hildegarde and warned her of Odin's sudden madness. (Thor 246)
