Biography[]
Bail Antilles was a human from the planet Alderaan. During the waning years of the Galactic Republic, he served on the Galactic Senate. In 32 BBY, Queen Padmé Amidala called for a vote of No Confidence against the Republic chancellor Finis Valorum. Once the motion was passed to remove Valorum from office, three standing senators were nominated to replace him, including Bail Antilles, Ainlee Teem of Malastare, and Sheev Palpatine, representing Naboo. Palpatine ultimately secured the vote. In the years leading up to the Clone Wars, Bail Antilles was succeeded by Bail Organa in the Galactic Senate.
