Bad Moon is an American-Canadian co-produced feature film of the werewolf subgenre of horror. It was written and directed by Eric Red based on a novel by Wayne Smith. It was produced by Morgan Creek Entertainment and distributed through the Warner Bros. film company. The movie opened to limited theatrical release in the United States on November 1st, 1996.
Bad Moon had a domestic opening of $607,081, having been screened in only 825 theaters. It had a total domestic gross of $1,055,525 over its entire U.S. run, which was a total of nine weeks (63 days). It did not receive an international release. [2]
