Biography[]
Babu Frik was an adult Anzellan male approximately eighty-five years in age, born sometime around 50 BBY. [1] Around 35 ABY, he was working as a droidsmith on the planet Kijimi. Babu Frick had connections with a spice-runner named Zorii Bliss. Members of the Resistance including Rey, FN-2187, and Zorrii's former colleague, Poe Dameron came to Kimi with a protocol droid, C-3PO. They needed to translate the language etched onto a Sith dagger, which they hoped would pave the way towards the mysterious Sith planet known as Exegol. C-3PO's programming restricted him from translating the text, so they needed Babu Frik to reprogram him. The downside to this, was that by doing so, they would completely erase C-3PO's memory. Babu Frik worked on C-3PO, and successfully rebooted him, allowing the Resistance the ability to translate the text. Soon after, the Final Order had an Xyston-class Star Destroyer destroy Kijimi. Fortunately, both Babu Frik and Zorii Bliss were able to escape the planet's destruction, and later traveled to Exegol to assist the Resistance in their fight against the Final Order. [2]
